Showcase of Young Musicians

The Bosque Civic Music Association  will sponsor the Third  Annual Showcase of Young Musicians to be held at the Bosque Arts Center, 215 College Hill Drive, Clifton, Texas, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7 PM.

Completed applications must be received by Thursday, March 02, 2017, to be considered for participation in the 3rd Annual Showcase of Young Musicians.

This Showcase will offer an opportunity for talented young musicians who reside in Bosque County or attend a Bosque County school to share their musical talents with the Community.

It will also be a fundraiser whereby the Community can show its appreciation and support of our talented young musicians by attending the Showcase and contributing to the Bosque Civic Music Association’s efforts to promote further musical experiences for young people. The Bosque Civic Music Association Scholarship Fund annually gives financial aid to deserving students who plan to enter college and participate in some aspect of a Music Program at the college or university they attend. Scholarship recipients do not have to be Music majors.

Participants in the Showcase will include:

  • Voice
  • Band Instruments
  • Strings
  • Piano

Performing as:

  • Solo
  • Duet
  • Trio
  • Quartet
  • Ensemble

Participants will be all ages from High School to Elementary, provided they have achieved an appropriate level of proficiency in making music.  Students may be from public, private, or home schools and may be studying with private music teachers.

Application Forms will be available at Bosque County Schools, the Bosque Arts Center, and on the BCMA website.

Completed applications to perform in the 2017 Showcase of Young Musicians must be received by:

Applicants accepted to perform in the Showcase will be notified as soon as possible after March 02, 2017, and will receive complete information about the Showcase program from their respective music teachers.
