I’ve been involved with music from the beginning, with my earliest memories being aural memories. The opportunity I had to grow up surrounded by music and culture laid the groundwork for many opportunities in music performance and music production.
I’m currently a student at Texas State University studying Sound Recording Technologies. Studying music production, I am stretched to grow as a performer and as a sound engineer on a daily basis. In the diverse world of music performance, it can be stressful and difficult… and my musical experiences in high school helped prepare me for my college education and professional music world. This would not have been possible without the teachers who took their time to instruct me, the programs made available to me which allowed me to perform, and the scholarships provided by both the CMA and the Clifton High School band backers. Thank you!
The CMA is a worthy program and I have benefitted greatly from it.
